Our wooden Venetian blinds are perfect for creating a warm, natural look to your room. Available in a choice of six colours, nine widths and two drops, our fabulous blinds will complement both modern and traditional decors.

High quality blinds for your peace of mind

Made from Basswood, our quality 25mm hardwood venetian blind feature colour co-ordinated valance and ladder strings. Safety is an important element of our design and so all of our Venetian blinds contain a cleat to keep loose cords away from children. Brackets allow for top, side or face fixing and the blind may be reduced in width and height.

Please note blinds cannot be returned after alteration. The 210cm (83") drop is only available in natural finishes.

The long blinds, needed for Victorian style windows, need longer 'wands'. Little fairies can't reach them!
The wooden plugs along the bottom runner were smashed on 3 of the 13 blinds we've purchased.
One blind's pelmet support bracket was loose in the box with no screws.
Delighted though, as not easy to acquire this length elsewhere.

I was thrilled with my blinds at first but now the wood has warped & they look awful .The slats are un-even & there are gaps when they are closed .I am very disappointed in them & they are less than 6 months old .

I bought the blinds for my baby's room; I was very excited when it arrived, until my husband tried to put it up. Instructions are very poor and not clear at all! The product got broken during installation we had to cut some off to make it fit. It's just waste of money!! -(((

We brought 5 blinds to cover all the windows and doors in our home office. They fitted in very well, both size and colour. They're cheap, reasonable quality (just how much "quality" can you put in a Venetian blind?). Nice and easy to fit and luckily for me no sawing down the width.

I just wanted a bit of privacy and to be able to control how much sun comes into my South Facing house.
The cream I selected, means that the room is still light and airy.
The downside is that really you have to cut every slat individually to get a quality finsh.

This was out of stock at my local store so I decided to buy online. It also said it was out of stock online, but I kept going through the purchase process and it let me buy it. [...] Very surprised and happy! Have had other sizes and am very happy with the quality and ease of installation. Cutting wooden slats to size is not the easiest but zip tying them together before cutting makes it a lot easier.

This blind looks fab in my kitchen and because there is a large range of sizes it fitted perfectly without having to trim it.
I can't think of any negatives to this product!

Great price, was impressed with the quality of the blinds and being able to adjust the width meant I could fit them inside the window recess, which was the look I was going for. The mechanism to raise and lower the blinds isn't great but ours are always down and we just open and close the slats.

Very easy to assemble. But the best part was being able to trim the blind to the desired width. This must be done by a saw and not the venetian blind cutters (no good for wooden blinds)
Its also easy the shorten the length of the blinds.

I bought these blinds to replace my Aluminium ones only to be very dissapointed that the slats drooped and looked warped in places so all but the two we had fitted, were returned and more Aluminium ones bought in their place. The two fitted ones look awful and will be disposed of.

The only flaw with these is as the blinds get narrower the pole to twist gets shorter. However the length of blinds is still 210cms, so I do have to stand on my sofa to turn the pole.

This is an excellent product and very good value but what idiot specified the glue on the Warning Label. When removed it stripped the paint off the bottom rail of the blind with it.
Also, there was a 2 week wait from ordering through the Reading store.

Bought this blind when completely revamping teenage daughters bedroom into a shabby chic style & they fit in beautifully - they really look the part & offer the privacy needed & block out the light well. We installed 8 of these into one room and they have transformed the room and look really chic and expensive, match my oak window sills perfectly and look good from the outside too. i bought these blinds for 6 windows the price was good and they look fantastic easy i have always had nets so i found the blinds easy to use they are brillient for privacy and blocks light i dont have to draw my curtains they look fab open and closed i would say it will take 2 people i was lucky as my dad is fab at diy so i only had to watch.

These were additional blinds we already knew the product was good and were a match for the existing blinds so ordered online to make sure they were in stock.
Only bad point was that one pack had been opened and re-sealed and one of the draw string knobs was shattered but got over that and they look good.

I have looked all over for the right sized white wooden blinds but unless I had them made at considerable expense I could not get the size or brightness of white until now. The bar consealing the top of the blind is hooked on with several small hooks which is great as the sticky stuff usually provided with this type of blind is rubbish. I have three windows in my kitchen so I have now got what I wanted at a budget price. I would recommend these.

Lovely expensive looking blinds! I bought them for bedrooms & living room in teak but unfortunately it wasn't long enough for the living room window. Such a shame there is only one length in the colours, as I wanted matching blinds in every room! Can't understand why they only do the natural in a longer length.

Used a set of 4 blinds around a large bay window. difficult to lock shut as they are quite cumbersome and heavy. great for blocking out only part of the window at a time. Nice and light in colour and easy to open slats.

Shame the drop stops at 160cm

I like the buy of the shelf blinds as not bad for the price as think the made to measure are overpriced & can get better deals having them made and fitted by a blind company. However the ones you can buy of the shelf are not top of the range but average and some are good value for money unless you want the 210 drop on the natural wood then the price does jump. Not bad for the price. Unfortunately not enough choice on the widths specially if you want the longer blinds as these stop at 160cm drop on all colours with the exception of the Natural wood. This is a shame as old houses have a much larger drop than 160cm and tend to be 180cm plus. i think that more custom & sales would be achieved if more choice in sizes including width & length. Thank you.
They are good for privacy and blocking out light. A bit flimsy to manoeuvre & this could be improved. Also the coper rail at the top would be better if painted in the colour of the blind to give a better finish as even with cover on high windows this can still be seen.

These blinds are not worth approx £50 each. They are heavy, do no retract easily, several of the valances were broken, they don't stop much light. If they weren't such a mission to install (I installed 5) I would return them for a refun

I bought two blinds for my kitchen and living room and they look fab. I was struggling to find blinds wide enough without spending a fortune and I think these blinds are excellent value for money. My windows look 10 times better now! I would recommend and I would buy these blinds again! I needed them to be trimmed down slightly which took a while but well worth the effort!

i liked the blinds but i thought they were poor value for money, the reason being that the pole you have to twist to open and shut them has broke off both sets of blinds that i have bought, the blinds its self are good but i would have rather had the pull string at the other end as you can cut them nice and short for safety, i am stuck just now with good blinds that i cant shut due to this problem and i dont have the reciept to change them .as after having them 6months i didnt think i would need it. really upset with that as they cost me[$]

The blinds were easy to cut to size and look as good as made to measure blinds, I was quoted £350 to have blinds in my bay window. The blinds I got from the mill cost me less than £50. With the help of a willing handyman (my Dad and the cost of a few cans of lager) I have the same look as the made to measure blinds saving £300!

Difficult to cut - many of the slats split. Brackets are poor quality - one does not close properly. Wand tilter does not close blinds fully - light still coming through. Cord pull does not operate properly either - lock mechanism is not strong enough. Took a long time to install. Look OK now they are finally up but I wish I had gone to a professional blind manufacturer/fitter in hindsight.

I brought this product on behalf of a client, I thought it was extremely good value, very attractive, easy to install, my client was impressed. I bought these for my conservatory. They are 2cm short. When measured they are only 158cm long not 160cm. The extra 2cm would have made all the difference to the way they look.I appreciate the measurements on the box are approximate but it's disappointing all the same as this is the only length in the cream.

I have bought 9 blinds all differnent sizes, I have had to trim all of them to fit my silly sized windows, but this was very easy to do,ladies you do not need a man to install these I did it. If I had noticed that they had a stick, instead of a cord, to control the angle of the blinds I would not have bought them. I think it's an eyesore, especially when the blinds are closed and the stick is just hanging down. Other than that they are fine and very good value for money.

We have fitted 11 of these into our conservatory. This nows keeps it cooler in summer and hopefully will allow us to keep heat in this winter. Just be careful about fitting the centre bracket on the 6ft ones as we had one bend allowing the whole blind to bend when raising the blind.

The blinds offer very good value for money. Our windows are a difficult size and all the blinds had to be cut to size, which although time consuming was easy to do. They are no more difficult to clean than any other venetian blind.

I installed these to help keep the dogs quiet, preventing them seeing people walking by. In addition they give us privacy, and we can control sunlight on computer screens etc. They look very good and I am pleased that we haven't added to the mountains of plastic littering the planet.

I couldn't have installed them without help as they needed to be fixed to the concrete lintel above the window. But someone with the right equipment can fix them easily.

These blinds are excellent value for money. The oak colour is great. I did purchase several Oak blinds before these and always found that they were orange in colour when I received them.
The slats are alot smaller approx 25mm but I actually prefer this. Great to cut down. I used garden secateurs which cut through the slat easily.
I loved these so much that I bought them for every window in the house!
Service and delivery comments:
Delivery was friendly and prompt. The delivery charge was reasonable, the petrol cost alone was double the cost. Makes it so much more worth while having it delivered to your door.

I used two narrow long blinds on a set of patio doors.
Gave the effect I wanted
As they are very long they are difficult to pull up to the top, they feel too heavy for the fixing at the top.
Probably would be much better for a normal window, might buy one for the kitchen.

i found these blinds to be good value for the price, they are easy to install and look good once installed.
The only drawbacks are that they cannot be trimmed to size and the widths were not sufficient for my large windows - as such i had to employ two blinds per window,but they still look good.
also, the blinds do not completely block out light and so would not be sufficient on their own for this purpose, they do however offer a sufficient degree of privacy.
they are a good cheap alternative to expensive made to measure wooden blinds if you do not require complete blackout/heat retention, just an attractive addition to your window dressing

I have this product for every window in my house and i would not buy anything different
What is good about this product is that it matches everything in each room, you do not have to buy matching curtains with you bedding, it allows you to change your colour scheme when you get fed up and there is no taking down nets or curtains to wash, these blinds are very easy to wipe.
The only down side even though they are easy to clean in the summer months they do tend to colect a bit more dust

I bought these white wooden venetian blinds for my sons' bedroom to replace the curtains they had. It made a huge difference to their room. Whilst it keeps the direct sunlight out, the room is still light & airy which is perfect for a child's room. My husband found it quite easy to install. Excellent value for money, too. I highly recommend this product.

Fabulous value for money. Be careful when cutting to size as I had to do for every window as our windows are quite old and an odd size. Some of the panels can buckle due to the sawing action
