The original Cake Pops recipes suggest that you bake a whole cake, cool it, crumble it, mix it with icing and hand mould the balls. Hmmmmm
If like me, you are short on time and patience, this mould is an absolute winner. Easy to fill, and cooling quickly once it's out of the oven, it makes creating cake pops a doddle.
Couple of tips - cook a strip of pops rather than a whole tray to get used to the timings, so that you don't waste a whole batch of cake mix; some sponges will take a bit longer such as lemon sponge; also buy some throwaway sticks as well as the dishwasher proof ones that come with the mould if you are going to someones house as it saves carting home dirty sticks.
Final tip - get a gym membership, as the cakes you will produce are very moreish and you will have 'popped' 10 in your mouth before you know it!
