The colour and design of this bedspread is of a very good standard but why make the underside cream? Disappointing as it stands out all around the edge

I already had the curtains

I had already purchased the same range of curtains from the store. I was pleased with the bedspread apart from one thing, the backing which is attached to the plum bedspread is ivory colour and the thread used to attach the backing to the bedspread is white so that the white thread shows on the plum bedspread. Surely this cannot be right? Should the thread used to attach the 2 pieces not be plum coloured? I would like your opinion on this matter, please. I have only just finished decorating my bedroom that is why I am just replying now.

I purchased this about three months ago and am very very pleased with my purchase. I have not washed it yet so cannot comment on washability, but with the feel and the quality of the material and the stitching I cannot see there will be a problem. The colour is absolutely true to the photograph. I really am pleased with my buy it looks so expensive on the bad and completely changes my room.

This bedspread was exactly what I was looking for, it is stylish but simple and is admired by everyone. It would be warm enough with just a sheet underneath it during the summer and just adds a bit of extra warmth on chillier nights without being too bulky. Lined with cotton it doesn't slip and slide on the bed either.
