Available in two lengths, our Palermo Collection extendable pole is designed to perfectly enhance the look of your chosen curtain range. The pole is available in a brass or silver finish to complement your home decor and is also adjustable so you can fit the pole correctly to any window in your home.

The Palermo Curtain Pole comes complete with fitting instructions and lined rings and contains extendable brackets for easy installation. This sturdy pole is also wipe clean for easy care.

I could see how this pole would not work well while extended. However i bought 7 of them for my relatively small windows (not realising they actually extended!). Have to say, without the extension they work perfectly and had loads of rings - so if your windows are smallish - look no further!

I received this product before Christmas and recently decided to hang it unfortunately on inspection it had been previously used and was damaged beyond repair. I would not buy items like this online in the future

Went to Dunelm 10 mins before closing,looking for curtain pole. Thought this one was perfect. Put it in place,hung curtains, looked good. Until I came to close the curtains, hopeless, rings would not slide over ridge on pole. So frustrating, every time I close curtains I have to stand on bed. Useless!!![@]

I bought this product before reading the reviews. I have the same problem, when extending the pole the rings do not slide over the ridge where it has been extended. Being 5"4 I have to climb up on a box just to close my curtains

Palermo pole - poor the curtains stick.

The telescopic pole is useless as the curtains catch on the ridge it forms this makes drawing the curtains impossible without a step ladder. I was very disappointed having spent £830 on lovely curtains which would not draw. [...]Do not touch this pole with a barge pole!

We bought 3 of these poles and found the same problem as most of the other reviewers. The rings dont slide over the join in the 2 pole sections, so really, they dont work. We have used larger rings and tape but really, should we have to?? They look great but in reality a waste of money and alot of frustrated time. We are thinking about replacing the poles with non-telescopic ones!

Not suitable for the elderly

When the pole is extended the rings stick at the joint preventing the curtains from closing. For an elderly person this could be dangerous as steps are then needed to draw the curtains. Bigger rings could be the answer.

DESIGN FAULT

As the curtain pole is extendable..this causes a problem..when you extend the pole this causes a ridge..where the inside pole fits inside the outside pole...when you try to close the cutains...the rings supplied will not move over the ridge.Impossible to close the curtains without alot of hassle.

the poles that do not extend are great.....cut to size with a hack saw....easy to fit....would recommend this type.

great pole for the price. Only drawbacks are the plastic coating that needs removing from the inner rail. Also the allen key fitment is way too small and fiddly.Ring curtains tend to catch where the sections meet when closing curtains.
