Product was fine when I eventually tracked on down at another store.

    Service and delivery comments:

Reserved this online to collect at the Trafford store. They had no record of it even though I had a confirmation e-mail and did not have the product. A sales assistant eventually found one and assured me it was ok although the packaging was obviously damaged. When I got it home the fittings were missing and the fabric was mouldy on the inside - clearly a customer return. I definitely won't be using this service or Trafford store again!

This is an update on my previous post regarding this blind. This blind looks good at the window when retracted, a bit flimsy but ok. The BIG problem is in use where it is hopeless. It has to be yanked down by hand, it does not drop when the strings are released. There are thin, plastic rods sticking out from both ends of the slots on the back (not good for inquisitive little fingers), the weight rod at the bottom bends and comes out. To retract the blind so it finishes looking anywhere near straight is a two person job. I will be taking it back today.

I have this blind in a bedroom and it looks briliant. It does shut out the light, but, if you have a streetlight outside your window the light would creep in through the stitching holes. Not a problem for me but thought I would mention it. It looks great and goes up and down easily. It is great value for money, Laura Ashley it isn't, but it's in a spare room and it does the job for a fraction of the price.

can these blinds be cut down to size or do they come in fixed sizes - failing that could you recommend blinds that do ?

                A:

Hi Victor, thanks for your question. In theory, yes Roman blinds can be trimmed to size, however, due to the nature of the blind and the way it functions and the mechanisms inside, extreme care must be taken. It is not normally advisable to alter Roman blinds because of this. Also please note, that once cut, the blind cannot be returned. Roller Blinds however can be reduced in width and length and full instructions on how to do so are included in the pack. Kind regards

              Hi there,

Can this blind be fixed above the window recess onto the wall or does it have to be attached on either side?

              Thanks,

                A:

Hi Lauren, thanks for your question. The brackets for the Roman Blinds allow for top, side or face fixing, so yes you will be able to attach this above the window recess. Kind regards
