to block light from kitchen window early morning so the dog doesn't wake up so early
It does the job.
The cord is not long enough to reach over the kitchen sink and pull down, we have had to lengthen it ourselves.

We bought this blind in the cream colour which is a nice clean fresh colour. We have Laura Ashley twine on the walls & it goes lovely. The eyelets are a nice touch. The fabric is a good heavy quality, far better than the equivalent priced blind from a large diy shop! The mechanism is plastic but most blinds are now, even some more expensive ones. We have found it to be perfectly adequate, we are an all adult household, but there are several of us. It cleans well even got splashed with hairdye which was wiped off immediately & it left no stain. Easy to fit, instructions ok. Wish I had bought another of these rather than the one from the diy shop!

I have bought two of these blinds in less than 12 months & experience the same fault with both binds i returned first because the beads came out of the fitting to be told i was not entitled to a replacement or money back as i had not fitted it properly, so bought another & guess what same problem, as i have fitted roller blinds before & had no problems thought this was a excuse,In my opinion the fitting are very poor quality

Only had the blinds 4 months and the supporting bracket for the roller chain end has sheared away from the screws. However Dunelm only too glad to replace without hassle.

Had blind 3 months had to replace wall brackets twice. Blind itself great but fixings very poor quality.They need to replace the plastic brackets with stonger metal ones.

Blind looks lovely in my bathroon but after 2 days of use the roller mechanism jammed and the pull cord came off. Roller mechanism and brackets made of plastic. Very poor quality.

I have three of theses blinds in my kitchen.
Very easy to fit, all three were trimmed and up in 20 mins. Very smart and make a statement at any window. Do not hesitate in buying theses, they look very expensive up. One of my best buys.

A good blind at a good price however installation is defiantly a 2 person job and the pull string is short and spins around tangling its self regularly also ends are very hard to insert. But once complete is a striking feature in the room.
