Do not try to remove bean-bag filling

In order to wash the cover it is necessary to remove the filling. DO NOT TRY THIS. Unlike other makes of bean bag, there is no inner bag to contain the filling. If you try to remove the filling you will need to fill 5 bin-bags with polystyrene balls which are extremely small and light and go everywhere. I still haven't figured out how to get them all back in. This product is only satisfactory if you do not wish to wash it: otherwise it is not fit for purpose

Too much stuffing

The bean bag looks nice but it was bigger than I expected. There was also far too much stuffing (you didn't sink into it at all when sitting on it). I ended up removing almost 1/3 -1/2 of the stuffing. Plus, I had planned for it to be used by my 16 month old son but with all of the stuffing it was too big for him to sit in. Now it works but it's still bigger than I would have liked. Also, the material picks up a lot of fuzz from our wool carpet. Still the bean bag is high quality so I would still recommend it to a friend but with the caveat that it is big.

The product is excellent but I bought it, perhaps with the mistaken notion that I could remove the cover for washing. There is a zip at the bottom, but surely you don't expect the customer to tip all those tiny little polystyrene balls out somewhere in order to wash the cover do you?
