Dorma White Duck Down 13.5 Tog Duvet

Very comfortable and light and amazingly warm but still smells of duck after several weeks! Hoping that a good airing in the summer will finally banish the slight smell.

This is the 1st down duvet i have owned, i normally have feather and down but this is the most cosy duvet, not too heavy or too hot, theres no going back my norm.

The contents are so loose and light that despite being subdivided into their so-called cassette system (as opposed to the usual duvet-length sausages), they tend to collect in clumps. This means that to get the very best - which is truly excellent - it needs to have a vigorous daily shake. I feel that this should be explained on the packaging as it might not suit everyone. I'm six foot plus, and pretty fit, yet I sometimes find it an effort.

Upgraded from a Duck Feather and Down to this Down and Feather. At first it seemed a little lightweight but this certainly wasnt the case as it is sooo warm and cosy and moulds to you. Mine didnt have any odour like a number of the other reviewers and I can only say that I love this product. The quality is great and well worth the money.

I am a budget shopper but don't feel bedding is something you can compromise on. Good bedding is not cheap. My last quilt 20 years ago was goose down and feather, I just couldn't afford it this time. i thought I may be disappointed with this not being goose down and feather, but I am quite happy. the pockets hold the feather and down in place so heat is spread evenly. I don't overheat in warmer weather or get cold in colder. In other words, it works.

A very luxurious duvet, worth spending that extra penny.

Love this duvet, waiting for the single ones to come in stock so ,y son and daughter can have one each. It is soooo comfy, I don't want to get up in the mornings. Worth every penny, considering we spend 1/3 of our lives in bed. Only thing is it smells of duck, so would have aired it before putting it on my bed, but the smell only lasts a few days.

No cons for this product - all good. These duvets are so soft and warm and mould to your body to give a perfect nights sleep..
The design is such that the feathers don't end up at one end of the duvet but stay put.
If I had one critiscism it would only be that the initial smell when first out of the pacakging is uite strong but this disappears within a few days.

I really like the cotton fabric it really is of a high quality. It fits a double bed well with enough hanging over the edge of the bed.
