Poor Workmanship & Quality Control

I bought the fitted sheet and the valance sheet from this range for a new bed. Quality of material is superior, with a nice silky finish to it. However quality control is poor for such a highly priced item. There is an additional stitched finish all the way round the skirt on the valance sheet. On the one I bought this stitching is loose and has run in at least 5 different places along this finish. Pretty poor this got through quality control. For[$]for a double bed it's unacceptable. Best to check quality of sewing & return for a replacement if unsatisfactory.

This valance is gorgeous. Well done Dorma you've got it right!!! Its soooo soft and luxurious, actually fits the bed and reaches the floor, unlike my last one. Unwrapped it, washed and ironed very easily. Brilliant.
