Hi Suki, Thank you for your question , Take your wool rug outside, and shake off any loose dirt or dust that has accumulated since you either bought it or last cleaned it, Give your rug a once-over with a vacuum. Just to make sure all loose particles are removed, hose down your wool rug outside in a clean area, and then gently sponge the rug with a watered-down detergent solution, To finish the job, rinse all the soapy solution off the rug. Make sure all soap is out of the rug before continuing on to the next step.Dry your rug immediately. Wool rugs require a quick dry so do your best to get rid of any excess moisture on the rug by squeezing it out or hanging it out to dry under the sun. Whatever you do, do not put your wool rug in a dryer, Prevent long term stains in the first place by removing them immediately after they occur. Is it likely to catch and bobble and become fuzzy with people/ animals walking over it or has it been treated/ toughened to ensure the fibres don't fray?

        A:

        Hi,
        Thank you for your questions.
There is no treatment on the rug and so the rug needs to be treated with care, over time and with frequent use bobbling and fuzziness may occur.
        many thanks
