Natural History Museum x Dunelm

The Nocturnal Animals 100% Cotton Duvet Cover and Pillowcase has been designed with kids in mind. For most of us the night-time is for sleeping, but for some animals the night is full of opportunities. Nocturnal creatures must rely on their senses to hunt for food. Sharp hearing helps to detect the tiniest scuttles, highly sensitive whiskers pick up tiny movements in the air. From serenades to alarm calls, a chorus of noises erupts after dark - the night is far from silent! Calls, croaks, and songs carry in the darkness helping animals to find each other as they search for a mate. After a busy night, many animals need to find a safe place to rest, hiding inside dens or burrows until the darkness returns. This beautiful print celebrates these wonderful creatures who come alive at night.
