Useful for those little jobs that a guy who lives alone needs to handle occasionally. Never had call for a larger machine though after using this I now have the confidence for a full-size machine.

@Woody, the bobbins are pre-threaded and the patch of material shows the machine has been tested and set-up ready to use - as it says on the box.

Unfortunately I have not had any success with this machine. I believe it is second hand as there are two cotton holders which have cotton on and a piece of material which appears to have been sewn although I do not know how as I have not been able to get it to work. I should return the item but have not had time. The instruction manual is of little help.

After looking for child's sewing machine n not able to afford one for Xmas for my granddaughter I was surprised to find this machine for such a good price and to be honest didn't expect to much,my 6 year old granddaughter has learnt very quickly how to use and control her sewing making all kinds of small projects a mains adapter would be good but would increase price so I am very happy customer

I bought this so i wouldn't have to drag my big sewing machine out for a small project but in the end i went back to my big machine anyway. It doesn't come with a mains adaptor so i had to buy that seperately because i needed to take it to college to work on a project.

It's cheap in price and also in material, i obviously wasn't expecting anything amazing for the price but it's cheap plastic and quite flimsy. I used it for a quick project and now it's not placing any stitches. The top bobbin doesn't stay on and launches itself across the room every so often and threading the bottom bobbin up is just hit and miss. The instruction book is pretty useless and I've tried re threading everything but no luck. So i may end up having to return it.
If you're looking for somthing to save space for small projects or something you can take with you it fits that use, but i would reccommend you spend a little bit more for a different machine because this one is pretty disappointing

Light weight and handy for small jobs. A little disappointed that a power supply had to be purchased seperatly adding to cost. If aware of this may have not purchased.
